Wordpress & UI/UX Design

Working as a graphic designer in an ecommerce company involved in booking golf online has meant I have gained a lot of UX and UI design experience to ensure the end user has a trouble free experience when booking golf whether on their home computer or their phone. A good user experience is key as is brand identity. When designing the mobile site we needed to maintain as much functionality and look and feel from the website as possible while cutting down on anything that would slow down performance on a phone or tablet.

Here is the design I created for an admin system for golf clubs which is currently in development. I wanted to create a design for the system that was similar to what they had for it not to require too steep a learning curve but also a design that was clear and easy to understand without too much instruction.

I have been working on Wordpress for a number of years. I usually start with a template and work through the design from there along with the client and add plugins where necessary. This time is for a construction company who needed an entire site and logo. This site can be seen here. I also took many of the photographs for the site.

The next Wordpress site is for an architect called Claire Hyland of Minnow Design. Claire wanted a site that was quick to load and one that she could update herself quickly and easily. I am also Claire's photographer for her interiors once each project is completed. This site can be seen here.

The site is a self contained Wix site for a construction company called Inexworks who wanted a site that wouldn't require updating often but a place where potential customers could see the quality of work done by the company. It is still a work in progress. This site can be seen here.
