Design for print
I love designing for print. Working so much in the digital age I always get great satisfaction to hold my work in my hands. Here are just a few card designs I have created for my photography clients.
When I was working in Cleverbug, along with the marketing design I was also responsible for greeting card design. Here are just a few designs I created and illustrated at that time.
A photographer wanted a guide that answered all the questions she was usually asked by clients about her sessions and pricing. I worked closely with her to find out what information she wanted to get across and what her style was. The logo and the flower elements were created by aother designer and the beautiful photographs provided by the client.
Whenever designing for print it is obviously vital to make sure that issues like colour space and bleed margins are attended to with the utmost care before sending off to the printers. For all print work I use Illustrator and Indesign. For this charity calendar I took all the photographic images for the inside pages and made illustrations of each for the cover.
