DIY CD packaging

If you’re just starting out and don’t want to invest too heavily into packaging, or if you’re mindful of the environment and want to make your own eco packaging here’s a way to make a nice CD cover with kraft paper.

I started with a roll of kraft paper, a stamp with my logo (although that’s not necessary) some pretty ribbon and some cardboard tags.

Cut a piece of kraft paper approx. 9 inches by 11.5 inches.Fold in 3.75 inches along each long sideand make a fold 2.5 inches from the bottom. Then tuck your CD into the fold so that the initial folded sides keep it in placeFold over the top corners and tuck the top between the CD and the paper to secure itWrap ribbon around the middle and add a tag to decorate. If you then use kraft paper envelopes for your prints and use kraft paper to cover your frames you can tie the whole bundle up with string making a beautiful eco package. I should add that this is not my design but I thought it would be a nice share.
