DIY Newborn Props

I’ve always loved the white plank flooring in newborn setups so I decided to make my own. I bought 10 planks of 7′ panelling wood which is tongue and grooved, tester pots of paint and a planter. Planters in a garden center are usually way cheaper to buy than baskets in a homeware store. Total cost €34 (about $50)

I’m enthusiastic if a little haphazard with my DIY skills but I looked in the shed and took out something that looked as if it could saw through wood and halved the panelling planks. I then painted them white with a gloss undercoat and spread them on the grass to dry

Painted the bucket in a kind of sloppy way because I like it better a little rustic

I put the panelling together, half for the floor and half for the backdrop. I have also used all the wood on the floor and tucked a seamless of a similar colour under the wood which allows for a wider shot.

Thank you soooo much this is WONDERFUL!! Can I as, did you put the wood together permanently on a ‘backing’ – or did you just lay the pieces down next to each other for the shot?

Thank you so much for your selflessness and benevolent character. As a fellow photographer I know how hard it was years ago to get started in the photography world & business, however, I’m so grateful for people like YOU who helped make it easier. I wish you the best!!! And I pray that God may multiply your blessings. :-) . (((Big hugs)))
