How lovely it was to be asked to take the pictures for Neil and Lucy’s city centre wedding. It was a day filled with love and fun proving that no matter how many years you’ve been together a wedding is still an emotional and meaningful event. Here are just a few of the pictures from the day.
Back at the beginning of May my brother got married to a gorgeous girl called Sue! I was fortunate enough to get to spend the morning with them as they got ready and also to take pictures of their ‘first look’ which was v. emotional. <3
Here are just a few photos from that morning.
It’s hard to imagine a more beautiful setting than the Orangerie in Rathsallagh House which is where Caroline and Paddy tied the knot. They were blessed with a bright and sunny December day and their day was filled with tears, laughter and so much love. I always find it hard to keep my emotions in check when I’m photographing someone’s big day but there were many times on this particular afternoon that I had to jam my camera against my face to avoid any emotional tears from being seen. To Caroline and Paddy, thank you so much for asking me to be part of your big day and I hope your future is filled with the happiest of memories.
Darragh and Vanessa couldn’t have chosen a better place to tie the knot. If you haven’t already heard of Mount Druid in Co. Westmeath head over to alternativeweddings.ie , it’s such a fantastic venue! From the stone cottage to the tin chapel, to drinks beside the lake at the summer house and then on to the barn for the reception it was just perfect. With Vanessa and Darragh’s unique style this was always going to be a fabulous wedding and one that I loved being part of! Congratulations to both of you! I wish you a long and happy life together. I only wish the cat could have been there too 😉
I’ve got to know this couple a little over the past year and heading down to this wedding in Newcastle I just knew it was going to be a magical day. The two of them are such fun and also gorgeous so they made my job incredibly easy. There were a few spots of rain forecast hence the wellies but in the end nothing could put a damper on such a beautiful day. The reception was held in a marquee in Kim’s parent’s gorgeous garden and the marquee and garden were so beautifully decorated that it almost made me weep. You’ll see just what I mean when you see the pictures. I was lucky enough to have my daughter as my assistant on the day and even she said ‘When I get married I want to be just like them.’ So to Kim and Eamonn and their gorgeous daughter…Congratulations and I wish you all the happiness in the world!
